Start with the smallest useful clue
Type the title you remember. Add its year if there are several versions, or change Search in to Cast when the actor is your strongest clue. Director search offers another route when you remember who made the film. A translated title may be listed among the production's alternative names.
Use filters to remove the wrong results
Movies and series can share a name, so choose Format first when necessary. Genre, release year, original language and production country refine the catalog. The country filter describes where a production was made, not the country where you want to watch it. Viewing country is a separate setting.
Leave room for a surprise
Combining a narrow year, high rating, specific language and short running time can produce no matches. Clear the least important condition before assuming the film is missing. The movie-length filter excludes series because their episode runtimes do not mean the same thing as the length of a complete feature.
Sort by title when checking a name, newest when catching up with recent productions or rating when comparing established favorites. The scores shown here are TMDB scores with a vote threshold for the highly rated shelf, not IMDb scores. The A–Z page is also available when you simply want to browse without adjusting filters.
